About the ANOMALITH PC Game

“ANOMALITH” is a third-person survival shooter set in Japan, characterized by the ambiance of liminal spaces and retro aesthetics from the Showa era. In her quest to locate her missing friend, a girl enters a realm teeming with anomalies. Anomaly Zones manifest abruptly, without warning. Seventeen-year-old Reona Minazuki becomes a Diver for the government-supported Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office in her search for her friend who vanished within an Anomaly Zone.

During a visit to a mall with her close friend Arisa Kato, Reona finds herself caught in an Anomalization, leading to their separation. After surviving the Anomaly Zone, she decides to become a Diver for the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office to locate Arisa, willingly returning to the Anomaly Zone. Since the mall they were visiting anomalized, Arisa’s whereabouts have remained a mystery. The Operator for the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office, a loyal friend of Reona, offers precise support during the Dives. The Founder and Chief of the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office managed to escape an Anomaly Zone after an extended period of wandering, demonstrating her resilience.

The Head of Research at the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office oversees the research and development of equipment utilizing anomalous objects acquired from Anomaly Zones. The Head of Security at the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office, a former elite Diver, is responsible for managing the storage and security of anomalous objects and sensitive information pertaining to Anomaly Zones. A mysterious individual encountered by Reona during a Dive, this young girl temporarily joined Reona and Arisa when they became trapped in the anomalized mall. She became mute due to the trauma of witnessing her parents’ deaths at the hands of Anomalies.
